About CentHabits

CentHabits is an independent personal finance blog built on one simple idea, captured in our tagline: Small Money Habits That Build Wealth. We believe financial stability rarely comes from one big move. It comes from small, repeatable choices: tracking where your money goes, spending with intention, saving a little every week, and staying free of debt.

Why We Started CentHabits

Much of the money advice online is too complicated, too focused on get-rich-quick schemes, or built around borrowing more. We wanted a calm, practical place where anyone, whether a student, a young professional, or a family managing a household budget, can learn habits that actually work in everyday life.

What You Will Find Here

  • Budgeting & Saving: simple budgeting methods, emergency funds, and saving goals you can stick to.
  • Smart Spending: ways to cut waste, compare prices, and get more value from every purchase.
  • Side Income: honest, lawful ways to earn extra income using your skills and time.
  • Money Habits: the daily and weekly routines behind long-term financial health.
  • Halal Investing Basics: educational introductions to ethical, interest-free principles of growing wealth.

Our Values

CentHabits is guided by ethical and Islamic financial principles. We focus on living within your means, avoiding debt, and earning and growing money in lawful ways. We do not promote interest-based loans or credit products, gambling, lotteries, or speculative trading. We aim to be clear, honest, and practical, and we update our articles when information changes.

Educational Content Only

Everything we publish is for general educational purposes. We are not licensed financial advisors, and nothing on this site is a recommendation to buy or sell any product. Please read our Disclaimer for details, and consult a qualified professional (and a trusted scholar for religious rulings) before making major financial decisions.

Who Runs CentHabits

Dr. Saad Alshamrani is an educator based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. He holds a PhD in guidance and psychological counseling from the United Kingdom, has completed a diploma in artificial intelligence, and works to spread AI literacy. He works as a student guidance counselor at a secondary school, and much of his work is about helping young people build good habits. CentHabits applies the same idea to money: small, practical, halal habits for budgeting, saving and spending wisely, free of debt and interest. He is not a licensed financial adviser; everything here is general education.
